Butterfly houses are a great idea.They help the butterfly and enhance your garden.

Butterflies will feed on sugar and nectar rich foods such as strawberries, bannana,peaches,apple,and the older the better as there is more sugar available at this stage .

To keep fruit away from ants float a plastic dish within a larger water bowl and place this next to the butterfly house.

Butterflies will drink from muddy puddles so recreate this with a shallow dish of sand and a little water.
